“Research on resilience has found that there are at least five processes that are associated with increased resilience, they are – persistence, resistance, recovery, adaptation, and transformation.

Over the coming months, I’ll take a deep dive into these processes and explain how understanding each in more detail can improve several factors in your life, including your training, recreational and professional pursuits, and general ability to handle disruption.

To help give greater context, I’ll provide some insight from lived experience through my personal time enduring through the Special Operations selection course and how these processes helped me successfully navigate such a demanding situation.”
