98 Strength. Machines Are In
98 Strength's biggest update yet brings pin and plate-loaded machines into the program for Season 3, adding a new strength and muscle-building stimulus while keeping the structure, testing and standard members already know.
The Machines Are In
98 Strength just got its biggest update yet.
Since the 98 Training app began, three things have carried it. Programming built by people who know what they're doing. Knowledge worth trusting. A community that holds the standard, wherever it's training from. Every program was built to work in a box gym, a garage gym, or with nothing but a set of dumbbells. It was a good system. It had one gap.
From Season 3, pin and plate-loaded machines are part of 98 Strength. Not as an afterthought. As an intentional inclusion. These are the machines sitting in almost every commercial gym and hotel gym in the world, and they offer a stimulus free weights can't always replicate: controlled strength and muscle-building work that directly supports the primary lifts 98 Strength is built around.
98 Strength runs on a 4-day structure. It stands alone as a full training system, or it works as a spine, a base members can build aerobic and anaerobic work onto.
The daily focus still mirrors Performance. The tested events haven't changed season to season. What has changed is the accumulation weeks. Supersets and tri-sets have replaced the old circuit-style finishers, giving the machine work a proper structure instead of bolting it on. Every new machine-based movement comes with a free-weight alternative built into the app, so nobody training without access to a full commercial setup gets left behind.
This update is for anyone chasing maximal strength, hypertrophy and power the right way: structured, progressive, and built to hold up over a full season. No specialised gym required. Just the equipment already sitting in most commercial gyms and hotels, put to proper use.
Onwards and upwards.
